Paula Lee Frazier, 72, of Clarkton passed peacefully on Sunday, June 28, 2026 in Lower Cape Fear Lifecare Angel House, Whiteville surrounded by her family. She was born September 25, 1953 in Columbus County the daughter of the late Ned Lee, Sr. and Betsy Lennon Lee.
Paula had a passion for education and spent 34 years teaching in the public school system for the state of North Carolina. She sincerely loved every student that she taught and positively impacted thousands of lives. When she wasn’t in the classroom, you could find her on the beach with a cold Pepsi in her hand which was her true happy place.
She is survived by her son, Tripp Frazier (Jennifer) of WA; brothers, Ned Lee, Jr. (Lisa) of Lake Waccamaw, Eli Lee (Patti) of Wilmington; a sister, Amelia Sasser (Greg) of Lake Waccamaw; grandchildren, Peyton, Max, Owen and Graham Frazier.
A memorial service will be Thursday, 2:00 PM, July 2, 2026 at Western Prong Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Nathan Lynch. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the church.
