Randy Carroll Obituary

Robert Randolph Carroll Jr. 71, of Riegelwood NC, affectionately known as "Randy" began his life of everlasting peace on July 31,2023.


Randy was born on February 23, 1952 in New Hanover county to the late Robert Randolph Carroll Sr. and Mary Wehrhahn Carroll. His parents and son, Ryan Carroll preceded him in death. Randy retired from International Paper after many years of work and dedication as a pipefitter. His passion was being an avid outdoorsman and he spent much of his free time at the No Name Hunting Club with family and friends.


He is survived by his son Chase Carroll (Shonda), sisters Diane Rabon and Pam Caines; three grandchildren, Liberty, Isabella and Caden Carroll; two nieces Kelly Bordeaux (Bryan) and Emily Caines (Trevor). Many loving great nephews and nieces and numerous special friends.


Visitation will be 6:00-8:oo pm Thursday, August 3, 2023 at Peacock Funeral Home.


The family extends a special thank you to the staff at Novant New Hanover ICU and to those who visited, called and texted.
