Ray Pierce Obituary
Herbert Ray Pierce of Leland NC, passed away on January 2, 2025. He was born to the late Herbert Baldie Pierce and Doris Neil Griffin on July 17, 1948.
He was employed with Dupont for 40 years until retirement. He was crew chief of Area 81 racing, member of Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) and a member of single action shooting society. He attended White Marsh Baptist Church and the Central Church of God.
He is survived by his wife Alinda Holland Pierce; sons Chris Pierce of Leland, Tim Pierce (Kristen) of Leland and their mother Patsy Pierce of Lake Waccamaw, NC; a stepson, Jeffrey holland (Sydney) of Gastonia; a brother, Lee Alan Pierce of Leland; grandchildren, Alex and Emily Pierce; step grandchildren, Stratton Holland, Kenny Holland, Reagan Holland; niece and nephew, Lauren A. pierce and Tyler Pierce.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Mari Anne Etheridge; step daughter, Carrie Ann Holland; stepson, Andy Holland
A private graveside service was held.
