Ricky Dwayne Thomas of Whiteville N.C. passed on November 16, 2025. He was born on June 1, 1977 in Charlotte, N.C. to Randy and Peggy Slack Thomas of Chadbourn, N.C.
He graduated from Western Carolina University and loved music, travel, and camping.
He is survived by his lifelong partner Marjorie Lanier Thomas "Joi"; son, Holden E. Thomas of Whiteville N.C.; brother, Alan Thomas of Chadbourn, N.C.; sister, Courtney Register (Lee) of Whiteville, N.C.; nieces, Tru Grace Thomas (Austin) of Chadbourn, N.C., Brianna Thomas of Whiteville, N.C.; great niece, Alayna Grace Sanders of Chadbourn, N.C. and his parents.
His memorial service will held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Western Prong Baptist Church with Rev. Nate Lynch officiating. The family will receive friends 1:00 to 2:00 PM prior to the service at the Church.
