Robert Pierce Obituary

Robert Harold Pierce 83, of Hallsboro died Thursday, May 7, 2020 at his home. He was born August 8, 1936 in Columbus County.

Thank God for memories, he left his family with many. Harold spent 24 years in the United States Air Force. He retired in Wilmington then retired to Hallsboro. He enjoyed his yard, garden and traveling.

A loving Husband, Father and Grandfather, he will greatly be missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Avery M. Pierce and Mattie E. Crawford.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Nichols Pierce; three children, Geoffrey (Suzanne) Pierce, Michael (Ellen) Pierce and Phyllis Pierce; three grandchildren, Jennifer (Greg) Stasiak, Chris (Karen) Pierce, and David Pierce. He was also blessed with two great grandchildren, Ava and Dominik Stasiak; sister, Catherine (Charles) Barkley.

Out of respect for our family and friends, due to the unique circumstances of travel restrictions and health concerns, a private service will be held at Pierce Cemetery.
