Robert William "Bob" Still of Fletcher, NC formerly of Wilmington, NC went home to be with his heavenly Lord on Friday, March 18, 2022 at the age of 86. He was born in Queens, NY to the late William and Anna Still. "Bob" was preceded in death by his wife, Anita, his parents, sisters, Bernice Frye and Joyce Levine and sisters in law, Lillian Jacobs Brewington, Marcella Jacobs, Geneva Jacobs and Carolyn Jacobs, brothers in law, Barney Brewington, Lacy Freeman, Gary Jacobs, Rufus Jacobs, Russell Jacobs and John Freeman.

Bob leaves to cherish his memory three daughters, Susan Daniel (Gary) of Troy, AL, Linda Buonomo (Anthony) of Hicksville, NY and Jennifer Still of Fletcher, NC, three grandsons, Jack Stausul of Massapequa, NY, Joseph Buonomo and Michael Buonomo of Hicksville, NY, a great grandson, Ashton Booth of Gwinnett County, GA, sisters in law, Reba Freeman, Dorothy Jacobs (Ervin), Wanda Freeman (Tommy), Teresa Freeman, Jehrie Lynn Jacobs of Bolton, Sylvia Hunt (Jack) of Chadbourn, NC and a host of nieces, nephews and special family friends.

The greatest loves of his life, beyond family, were singing and bowling. In 1954, Bob sang in the NY All City High School Choir and sang in several church choirs over his lifetime.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 5:00 pm at the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, 7857 Old Lake Road in Bolton (Buckhead Community).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the fund for the children of New Hope Baptist Church in memory of Bob and Anita Still.
