On Sunday, March 2, 2025,  Ronald David Register of Hallsboro passed away at the age of 54 years. He was the son of Mary Ellen B. Register and the late Vester Register.

He will be lovingly remembered by his mother; brother, Brian (Christy); nieces Lauren Register, Madelyn Register; nephew Brylan David Register; aunts, Linda B. Sellers (Tom), Doris Inman (Eugene); uncle, Bennie Register (Rita); "sister" Lana Hogan (Danny); as well as numerous other special relatives and friends.

Being an avid outdoorsman, Ronald enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, operating his excavator, and barbecuing. Known for his exemplary culinary skills, he was constantly "concocting" new dishes for his family and friends. As his neighbors often remarked, " He always brought fun and life to any gathering with his colorful storytelling skills. His laughter was contagious and could be heard for miles. Perhaps the plaque hanging on his wall best described Ronald's philosophy of life: "Live Simply."

His graveside service will be held Friday, March 7, 2025, at 2:00pm at Pierce Cemetery located in Hallsboro with the Reverend Dr. Scott Lewis, Pastor of Hallsboro Baptist Church, officiating.
