Royce Butler

Mr. Royce Butler 86, of Nakina went to his heavenly home Saturday, November 20, 2021 at New Haven at Little River, SC. He was born  July 8, 1935 in Columbus County the son of the late Tobe Butler and Miriam McCollum Butler.  He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Doris Ward Butler.

Royce was a charter member of Nakina Baptist Church where he served as a loyal member and deacon for many years. 

He is survived by two sons, Revice Butler (Lou Ann) of N. Myrtle Beach, SC, Rhett Butler (Hannah) of Greenville, NC; grandchildren, Josh Butler (Morgan), Olivia Clark (Blake),  Cleo Butler, Toben Butler; great grandchildren, Norah Butler and Nash Butler; brothers, Carl Butler  (Hilda) of Whiteville, Jack Butler (Patsy) of Sumter, SC, Deleon Butler of Clarendon; a sister, Linda McPherson (Ronald) of Riegelwood.

His funeral service will be at 2:oo PM Wednesday November 24, 2021 at Nakina Baptist Church with Rev. Darryl Hester officiating.  Burial will be in Peacock's Columbus Memorial Park.

His family will receive friends at Nakina Baptist Church one hour prior to his service in the church.
