Sherry Turner Johnson, age 67, of Kelly, NC died Friday, March 24, 2023 in the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare in Whiteville, NC. She was born October 14, 1955 in Cumberland County, NC to the late Jesse James and Mattie Singletary Turner.
She is survived by her husband, Steven Johnson of the home; her daughter, Jen Grover; her brother, Tommy Turner; her sisters Frieda Fipps and Charlene Pete; her brother-in-law, Robert Chinnis and sister-in-law, Dee Chinnis and many aunts and nieces.
Her Celebration of Life will be held April 15, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the Atkinson Gym.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that contributions be made to her husband for medical and financial bills or to Lower Cape Fear LifeCare, 206 Warrior Trail, Whiteville, NC 28472.
