Shirley Ann Coleman Long of Whiteville NC, passed away December 28, 2024. She was born to the late Odell Coleman and Lettie "Mae" Pettite on March 18, 1949. 

Shirley was an artist and a seamstress, she loved the outdoors and gardening. She could always make something out of nothing. Above everything else she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, "Nanny", sister and friend. 

She is survived by her son, Randy Leroy Long (Melissa "Renee") of Whiteville; daughters, Sheila Marie Long (Glenn) of Whiteville, Lisa Gail Marshall (John) of Wilmington; sister Clara Mae Beck of Whiteville; grandchildren, Jonathon Mark Price (Amanda Jean), Hanna Marie Norris; great-grandchildren, Arabella "Bella" Norris, Madylynn Marshall, Raven Ann Price, Lilee Jean Price and Valentina Marie Price.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Rev. Thomas Leroy "Nick" Long; brothers, Rossie Coleman, James Coleman, Joe Coleman and Richard Coleman; grandson, Michael Joe Price.

A private family service will be held with the Rev. Larry Cartrette and Ray Williams officiating.

Serving as her Pallbearers will be: Laverne Hyatt, Mark Hyatt, Raymond Long, Patrick Long, Sam Long and Michael Long.
