Sidney Brown

Sidney Moore Brown, 88, of Clarkton NC passed away Thursday, May 23, 2024. She was born August 11, 1935 in Columbus County to the late James Madison Moore and Mary Pearl Prease Moore.

She is survived by her Sons, Robert Carl Brown III (Karen) of Whiteville, James Darrell "Liddy" Brown (Debbie) of Whiteville & Raymond Eugene Brown (Dorian) of Miami FL; Daughter, Vera Elizabeth "Beth" Brown of  Whiteville; Grandchildren, Courtney Nicole Stevens, Robert Eric Brown (Terrie), Carla Grey Snow (Brent), James Edward Brown & Greyanna Geraldine Brown; Great-Grandchildren, Ryder Carl Brown, Erica Pearl Brown & Daniel Lee Brown.

She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband,  Robert Carl Brown Jr. and her Sister, Mary Evelyn Hughes.

Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 2:00pm at Western Prong Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronnie Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Her family will receive friends one hour prior to her service at the church.
