Skyler Griffin Obituary

Skyler Odom Griffin, formerly of Bolton, North Carolina passed away peacefully early on January 13, 2022 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh. Born in 1944 to Arcy Thomas and Dorothy Smith Odom, she graduated in 1962 from Acme-Delco High School. She was a graduate of Louisburg College, and UNC-Wilmington, and taught school for many years.

She is survived by a daughter, Ellen Griffin Miller of Carthage, TN, and her sons: Michael A. Griffin of Raleigh, NC, and Andrew T. Griffin of Sanford, NC. She has one granddaughter, Anna Griffin. She is also survived by a sister, Francis "Bunny" O. Outlaw of Savannah, GA, and brother Thomas Russell Odom of Durham, NC.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at 1:00 pm, Saturday, January15, 2022 at Shiloh United Methodist Church, 4658 Old Lake Road, Bolton, NC. Rev. Ira Smith will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, she requested that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
