Stacy Young

Mr. Eric Stacy Young, 50, of Lake Waccamaw, died Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Columbus Regional Healthcare. He was born April 12, 1969 in Bladen County, the son of Pastor Lucy Mitchell Young and the late John Henry Young.

He is survived by his wife, Linette Young; son, Devin Young of Lake Waccamaw; two daughters, Erica S. Young of Whiteville, Kayla R. Jacobs of Lake Waccamaw; grandchildren, Avery Moore, Jaidah Jacobs, Karee’ Young, Kove’ Robinson, Treasure Jacobs; mother, Pastor Lucy Mitchell Young; brother, Earlon Mitchell and wife, Wanda of Council; two sisters, Shelly Watts and husband, Percy of Lake Waccamaw, Myrtle Lindsay and husband, Michael of Lake Waccamaw.

His funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, March 9, 2020, at Freewill Holiness Church.

Burial will be in Freewill Holiness Church Cemetery.

His family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm Sunday, March 8, 2020, at Peacock Funeral Home.
