Tonia Sharon Pridgen, 70, passed away at Columbus Regional Healthcare System after a 13 year battle with cancer. She was born in Columbus County on January 26, 1952.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Swift Ernest Pridgen, Jr. and Omie Blackmon Pridgen and her half sister, Patricia Ann Duncan.
Tonia leaves to cherish her memory four children, Anthony Pridgen (Sandra) of MA, Pamela Suzanne Pridgen of Elizabethtown, Megan Pridgen of Chadbourn and Adam Pridgen of Whiteville; her loving friend, John Hardgraves of Clarkton; ten grandchildren, Cameron, Wesley, Malachi, Jonathan, Gerik, Alyvia, Emilie, Riley, Reagan and Dalson; two great grandchildren, Valeria and Camilla; five sisters, Frances Shelton of Swansboro, Sue Pridgen (Floyd) of Whiteville, Sylvia Reeves (Derrick) of Winston Salem, Tonia's twin, Terry Green of Whiteville and Beverly Pope (Butch) of Whiteville; many cousins and friends.
