Verssie Baldwin Obituary
Verssie Baldwin 88, of Bolton, NC. passed on February 22, 2026 in New Hanover. She was born on January 30, 1938 in Bladen County, the daughter of the late Mamie Freeman Baldwin and Bartha James Baldwin.
She is survived by brothers, John Baldwin (Fatty), Winfred Baldwin and wife Louise, Wayne D. Baldwin; sisters, Connie Jacobs, Tessie Jacobs, Lois Smith, all of Bolton. Frances Gillis and husband Phil of Council; many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers James (Buddy) Baldwin, Jody L. Baldwin; sisters, Ammretha Jacobs and husband Alton Jacobs, Magdline Jacobs and husband Martin Eddie Jacobs, Helen Jacobs and husband Sanford Jacobs.
Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at Mt. Sinai Holiness Church.
The family will receive friends Saturday, February 28, 2026 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Peacock Funeral Home.
