Victoria "Vicky" Ann Baldwin

Victoria Ann "Vicky" Baldwin 50, of Whiteville, passed on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at her home.  She was born January 10, 1973, in Columbus County, the daughter of the late Carlton Eugene Baldwin and Sarah Blackburn Baldwin.

She is survived by two sisters, Cathy Baldwin Bell (Married to Robert Bell) of Whiteville, Amy Baldwin Bailey (Married to Sammy Bailey) of Whiteville; niece, Addie Elizabeth Bailey of Whiteville; nephews, Landon E. Bailey (Married to Lala Bailey) of Carrboro, NC and Grayson Bell of Whiteville.

Vicky also leaves behind Samaya Lewis, Brooklyn Deans, Denver Dowds, and Harper Canady to cherish her memories. There are countless other children that she has helped raise over the years; Her indelible mark will be left on these children, a memory they won't forget.

Vicky, loved and known by most as BB touched the lives of all those around her. She dedicated over 30 years of her life to spreading joy to the children of Opening Doors Preschool. BB was a light in the world and will be missed by many.

Her funeral service will be at 3:00 pm Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Peacock Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. D. J. Locklear officiating.  Burial will be in Peacock's Columbus Memorial Park.

Her family will receive friends 2:00 - 3:00 pm Thursday prior to her service in the Peacock's Chapel.

Serving as pallbearers will be Sammy Bailey, Robert Bell, Grayson Bell, Cole Canady, Allan Canady. and Christopher Scott.
