Virginia Rose Jacobs Caison 72, of Bolton passed on Monday, October 21, 2024.  She was born July 19, 1952 in Columbus County, the daughter of the late John D. Jacobs and Lee Elizabeth Graham Jacobs.

She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.  She retired after 30 years employment from Dupont.  She enjoyed cooking and was always a devoted caregiver to friends and family.

She is survived by two sons, Brian K. Caison (Etiska) of Hollister, NC and Shawn A. Caison of Clarkton; a daughter, Felicia D. Caison of Currie, NC; two brothers, Paul J. Jacobs (Kaye) of Bolton and Monroe Jacobs (Joyce) of Bolton; two sisters, Gerri Rowe of Bolton and Vonnie Mintz of Wilmington; grandchildren, Lelonnie Caison, Angelina Caison, Anielle Caison, Ryder A. Caison, Devan T. Young, Cholena Locklear, Charlie Justice and Jaymilin Justice; many nieces, nephews and others she called children and great grandchildren,  treating them as her own.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, John Leo Jacobs; a sister, Lela Mae Jacobs Brewington; a sister-in-law,  Mary Arrater Jacobs; a nephew, Timothy Lee Jacobs.

Her funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 26, 2024 at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Jacobs and Rev. Zack Jacobs officiating.  Burial will be in the Red Hill Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends 1:00 - 2:00 pm Saturday prior to her service at the church.
