Wanda (White) Bass Obituary
Wanda White Bass, age 66, of Clarkton passed on Monday, March 27, 2023 in Columbus Regional Healthcare, Whiteville.
She was born February 27, 1957 in Bladen County, the daughter of the late Bailey White and Minnie Priest White.
Wanda was always smiling and loved each person she met.
She is survived by her husband, Tommy Bass; a daughter, Jennifer Leighanna Gharam and husband, Laith of Clarkton; a brother, Milton Hayes and wife, Crystal of Clarkton; two sisters, Glenda Phillips and husband Bill of Clarkton, Sandra Gore of Whiteville; grandchildren, Ameer Gharam and Ameera Gharam; sister-in-law, Sara White.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Leonard White, a brother-in-law, Covel Gore.
Her graveside service will be at 11:00 am Thursday, March 30, 2023 at the Clarkton Cemetery with Rev. Jonathan Hayes.
Her family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Peacock Funeral Home.
