Willa Dean (McPherson) Baldwin Obituary

Mrs. Willa Dean Baldwin 82, of Whiteville passed on Friday, December 15, 2023 in Shoreland Retirement & Healthcare. She was born May 31, 1941 in Columbus County, the daughter of the late Seymour McPherson and Lily Mae Cartrette McPherson.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Baldwin; a son, Michael Baldwin and a sister, Margie Strickland.


She is survived by a son, Timothy Baldwin and wife, Marcie of Oxford, NC and a daughter, Pamela Brackley and husband, Daniel of Whiteville, NC; grandchildren, Brandon Brackley, Melorah Avery and Justin Baldwin; great grandchildren, Peyton Brackley and Morgan Brackley; a brother, Eugene McPherson and wife, Joyce of High Point, NC and a sister, Cora Jane Nobles of Charleston, SC.


Her funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 19, 2023 graveside at the Baldwin Cemetery with Rev. Ronnie Wilson officiating.
