Willie Lee Cook of Leland passed on August 14, 2025. He was born on October 19, 1950, the son of the late Lester Cook and Mary Cook.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Rosa Lee Cook, and his parents.

He is survived by sons, Daniel Cook of Wilmington N.C., Brian Cook and wife Rebecca of Leland N.C.; grandchildren Cheyenne Cook, Emily Cook, Kaylee Cook, Noah Cook, Bailey Cook, and Nova Cook

His funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday August 23, 2025 at Freewill Holiness Church with Rev. Rex Spaulding and Rev. Lucy Young officiating, visitation will be held one our prior. Burial will be at Freewill Holiness Church Cemetery.
