Wilma Coleman Obituary

Wilma Lee Coleman, 71, of Lake Waccamaw, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2022. She was born in Columbus County, the daughter of the late George Alton Mitchell and Stella Marie Jacobs Mitchell. She is the widow of the late Jesse Seymour Coleman.


She is survived by two sons, Doug Coleman (Trina) of Whiteville, Justin Coleman (Nikki) of Lake Waccamaw; daughter, Patricia Greene of Lake Waccamaw; brothers, Clarence Mitchell (Tonda) of Bolton, George Mitchell (Allison) of Clinton, Donnie Mitchell (Jackie) of Bolton; a sister, Shirley Freeman of Bolton; grandchildren, Tina Nicholson, William Coleman, Chuck Greene, Kade Bass and Jessi Coleman; great grandchildren, Tessalyn Nicholson, Carrie Nicholson, Jadon Nicholson, Chase Greene, Harmony Greene, Emma Greene, Brynleigh Coleman and Grayson Coleman.


She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, stepson, Ryan Patrick, grandchild, Bentlee Coleman, brother, Mike Mitchell, sisters, Vera Redwine, Geraldine Goodman and Teresa Huggins.


Funeral service will be conducted 3:00 pm Sunday, October 16, 2022 at Peacock's Chapel by Rev. Mike Jacobs. Burial will be in the Lake Waccamaw Hillcrest Cemetery.


Visitation will be Saturday, October 15, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at  Peacock Funeral Home.
