Yvonna Lynn Kissinger, 59, of Chadbourn, North Carolina, died February 5, 2026. She was born in York, Pennsylvania in 1966 to Woodrow Melton and Thelma Wheeler. She grew up in Milton Grove and Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. Yvonna was an entreprenuer, proudly developing her own cleaning business, Meltons Cleaning Service and was co-owner of B and Y Leather. She attained her lifelong dream of retiring near the beach and enjoyed shelling and turtle watching. Throughout her life Yvonna demonstrated her love for The Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by caring and providing for those around her. 

Yvonna was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow Melton and Thelma Wheeler, her siblings Lonnie Melton, Julius Melton, Woodrow Melton, and Sherrie Hahn. She is survived by her fiance, Eric Embly, her previous husband Bruce Kissinger, and her siblings Freddie Joe Melton and Columbus Daniel Lynch. Yvonna had two sons, Corey Melton, married to Camryn, and Jake Kissinger, married to Cheyanna. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Nathan and Bradyn.

A celebration of life will be held in Pennsylvania in Spring 2026.
