James Limuel Robinson

James Limuel Robinson, 72, of Whiteville died Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice. He was born July 18, 1944 the son of the late Limuel and Gloria Stegall Robinson.

He was a veteran of the US Air Force.  He was also an active member of Whiteville United Methodist Church and current president of the Congregation's Methodist Men's Group.  He provided CAD design services through his own company, J & M Drafting Services.  You can see the results of his work in many of his buildings in Whiteville;  such as, San Jose and Peacock Funeral Home.

He is survived by daughter, Jaimee Katrine Robinson of Scottsdale, AZ; son, David L. Robinson and wife, Amanda of Wilmington; step-daughter, Missy Bright Creech and husband, Mark of Whiteville; step-son, Brian Bright and Susan Benton;  granddaughters, McCoy Lynn Creech, Madison Marie Creech, Molly Shea Creech, Jessica Suzanne Benton, Bobbie Sue Keziah,  Etta Marie Robinson, and Mazie Ann Robinson; great granddaughter, Skylar Benton;  brother, Larry Robinson of Portsmouth, VA.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Robinson and his parents.

A memorial service will be held Friday, July 22, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Whiteville United Methodist Church by the Rev. Paul Stallsworth. The family will be accepting visitors at 1:00 pm at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent in his name to Lower Cape Fear Hospice Angel House, 206 Warrior Trail, Whiteville, NC 28472.
