Richard Lamar Jones, Jr.  37, of Tabor City, died Saturday, August 6, 2016.  He was born March 18, 1979 in Columbus County.

He is survived by his mother, Lisa Long of Tabor City and his father, Richard Lamar Jones, Sr. of Whiteville; two sons, Byron Jones and Chandler Jones of Conway, SC; two brothers, Weston Inman of Ash and Eddie Graham of Conway, SC; maternal grandmother, Linda Long Alley of Ocean Isle. 

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Macy Long, Jr., paternal grandfather, Willie James Jones, paternal grandmother, Martha C. Jones.

His funeral service will be conducted 11:00 am Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Peacock Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Chris Stanley and Rev. Ken Sides.  Burial will be in the Long Cemetery in Pireway.

The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Peacock Funeral Home.
