John “Catfish” Freeman
Mr. John Earlin “Catfish“ Freeman, 58, of Bolton died Saturday, September 17, 2016 at his home. He was born November 8, 1957 in Robeson County the son of the late Joe H. and Lizzie L. Freeman.
He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. He was employed with Southern Industrial Constructors.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Jacobs Freeman; a son, David Shannon Freeman and wife, Sharon of Bladenboro; a daughter Kayla Freeman Jacobs and husband, Denane of Bolton; three brothers, Ervin Freeman, Eddie Freeman and wife, Jackie L., Ray Freeman and wife, Donna all of Bolton; a sister, Ethel F. Graham and husband, Clarence of Bolton; a sister-in-law, Jackie R. Freeman of Bolton; five grandchildren, Shawn, Justin, Rebecca, Austin and Renee.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Darnell Freeman; a sister, Lori Ann Freeman.
His funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Thursday, September 22, 2016 at New Hope Baptist Church by Rev. Mike Jacobs, Rev. Don Carter and Rev. Howard Jacobs. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends 6:30 – 8:30 pm Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Peacock Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Harry Freeman, Mike Graham, Jerry Bell, Travis Jacobs, Earlin Freeman and McArthur Jacobs.
