Jerry Foster Jacobs

Mr. Jerry Foster Jacobs, 68, raised as the son of the late John Wesley and the late Dora Estella Freeman Jacobs;  his step-mother, Zadie Young Jacobs of Bolton.  He was born September 20, 1947 and departed this life on May 1, 2016 at Columbus Regional Healthcare.  His biological father was the late Robert Lloyd Jacobs.  Jerry was the owner of True American Construction and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in the Buckhead community of Bolton, NC.

He leaves to cherish his memory, a son, Richard C. Jacobs of the home; a stepson, James Mason Jacobs of Apex, NC; a sister, Brenda J. Moore (William); his step-mother, Zadie Young Jacobs of Bolton, three sisters-in-law; Margie Jacobs (Jimmy), Vonda Jacobs (Willard), Jackie J. Mitchell (Lloyd-Husband Donnie).

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Lora Mae Jacobs.

His funeral will be 2:00 pm Thursday, May 5, 2016 at New Hope Baptist Church in the Buckhead Community of Bolton by the Reverend Donald Carter, Reverend Howard Jacobs, and Reverend Kenny Jacobs.

His family will receive friends from 6:30 - 8:30 pm Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Peacock Funeral Home.
