Johnny Lewis Watts

Johnny Lewis Watts, 71, of Whiteville died Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice. He was born in Columbus County, the son of the late Walter Lewis and Katie Lou Locklear Watts.

He is survived by sons, Jonathan Watts of Whiteville, Timothy Watts of Moncks Corner, SC, Phillip Watts of Tampa, FL; daughters, Emily Dowless Cartrette of Whiteville, Carol Ann Watts of Whiteville, Deanna Watts of Tampa, FL; brother, Lonnie Watts and wife, Betty of Lubbock, TX; three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Lucille Creech and Betty Watts; brothers, Jack Watts and Tom Watts.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Peacock's Chapel by the Rev. Danny Jeffers.
