Mary Louise Watts Etheridge

Mary Louise Watts Etheridge, 67, of Whiteville, passed away peacefully after her struggle with dementia on

Saturday, September 18, 2016 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice Angel House, Whiteville. She was born December 15, 1948, the daughter of the late Joseph Fred Watts and Vestus Watts. She was the widow of Billy "Freddie" Etheridge.

Mrs. Etheridge was a homemaker and a faithful member of Magnolia Missionary Baptist Church where she shared her love of being with others and helping her community.

She is survived by her daughter, Vickie Sasser and husband ,Doug; her son, Terry Etheridge, and wife, Patricia; grandson , Justin Evans and wife, Summer; grandson, Ron Sasser; and granddaughter, Elizabeth Etheridge; brother, Dennis Watts and sister, Shirley Canady.

In addition to her parents and husband of 46 years, she was preceded by three brothers, Joseph Fred Watts, Jr., George Watts, and Eugene Watts.

The service will be held at 3:00 pm, Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at Magnolia Missionary Baptist Church, 1558 Crusoe Island Road, Whiteivlle, NC.

Family and friends will be received on hour prior to the services at the church. Arrangements are being handled by Peacock Funeral Home.
